About Us

Welcome to CVParent.com! My name is Michele Nissen and I'm the Publisher of CVParent.com.  I was born in Dayton, Ohio but raised in Southern California. I have been married to my amazing husband, Brian, since 1998 and we have 2 great children, Christopher and Olivia. I have been a stay-at-home Mom for the past nine years which is what prompted my family to move to the Inland Empire from my home town of 31 years in the South Bay.

I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Loyola Marymount University in 1994. Prior to staying at home, I was a Branch Operation Manager for Linsco/Private Ledger in Torrance, CA. In the world of banking and finance, I found myself working very long hours while wondering if "this" was what I should be doing for my family. I was trying to maintain balance between motherhood and the demands of my career.

In October 2001 I decided to make a big change and leave the career world behind  to stay home and raise our children. When we moved to Corona I found myself challenged by the lack of information. I was constantly researching what to do with my family and that's when I found CVParent.com. I felt that CVParent was a great resource with so many limitless possibilities.

The purpose of this site is to make life easier. CVParent.com allows parents, grandparents, tourists, teachers etc. to do the research right in their home with one site.

I hope that CVParent.com helps make your life easier and strengthens our community. We all have one goal, to raise happy and healthy children one community at a time!

I hope each of you finds this site to be helpful. Please send an email to info@cvparent.com if you have ideas or suggestions about additional family resources that you'd like to see included on this site or if you find something that is no longer current. I hope to be able to keep you up to date on all that is available in our area.

So, go out and enjoy our wonderful community...there is lots of fun to be had!

Sincerely,

Michele Nissen
