Moms on the Move
We want to support and acknowledge moms. Each of you is making a difference whether you are a stay at home mom, working mom, or volunteer mom. When you become a mom, it is often easy to forget the side of you that is also a woman who may have had a career, hobbies and education before you became a parent. As a mom we spend our days multi-tasking and juggling. We are now the CEO of our households. Our job description includes diapers, dishes, carpooling, and an endless amount of laundry. Overnight you go from being a woman with style to someone who is happy to just get a shower. Being a mom is wonderful but it is also important to have a sense of yourself outside of your family.
Each month we will feature a mom making a difference in our community. We want to acknowledge working moms and moms that volunteer. Feel free to suggest a mom by emailing us at info@cvparent.com.

Profession: Dispatcher for Sheriff's Dept
Education: Graduated High School and some classes at local college.
Children: 3! My oldest is 12. Adopted him as toddler. I have a 6yr old son and 5yr old daughter. (AKA tornado) :)
Fun Q & A with our Spotlight Mom:Personal:What phrase or motto do you live by? Everything happens for a reason!
Inspiration: My father. He is THEE perfect gentleman, father, husband, friend, coworker, and grandfather.
If you could teach your kids one thing and have it impact them, what would it be? To be kind and compassionate towards others.
How do you measure success? I measure success by how my children are turning out and the contentness of my family.
Greatest Accomplishment: Following through with a life dream in my 30's and accomplishing it! My dream job.
Proudest Moment: Well up until now, it has to be last week when my 3 children all came home with just about straight A's.
Biggest Challenge: At the moment it is entering the teen years with my 12yr old.
Wildest Dream: To visit Australia.
Sport/Exercise Program: Don't have a program, but do enjoy working out and staying in shape.
What would people be surprised to learn about you? That I am shy and always wondering what others are saying about me.
Where did you grow up: Orange County
How many siblings: Just 1. Younger sister. She is an RN. Very proud of her.
First Job: Order taker at Domino's Pizza.
