We want to support and acknowledge moms. Each of you is making a difference whether you are a stay at home mom, working mom, or volunteer mom. When you become a mom, it is often easy to forget the side of you that is also a woman who may have had a career, hobbies and education before you became a parent. As a mom we spend our days multi-tasking and juggling. We are now the CEO of our households. Our job description includes diapers, dishes, carpooling, and an endless amount of laundry. Overnight you go from being a woman with style to someone who is happy to just get a shower. Being a mom is wonderful but it is also important to have a sense of yourself outside of your family.
Each month we will feature a mom making a difference in our community. We want to acknowledge working moms and moms that volunteer. Feel free to suggest a mom by emailing us at info@cvparent.com.

You have two chioces: one is to live your life as if nothing is a miracle and the other is to live your life as if everything is a miracle.
Parents that have handicapped children.
I would teach them about Christ, Jesus and to live their lives as he did.
How I define success in career is you do what you love everyday and your job doesn't necessarily feel like a job but a hobby.
I measure success in family in two ways, #1 forgiveness, if there is no forgiveness then your family cannot live in harmony and be successful. Also the husband/father is the most important role in the family, he is needed by all, your daughters and sons and us wives. If you allow the "village" to raise your children alongside with you, then your children will grow up complete and with purpose.
Giving birth to my two amazing children.

A bible and a muzzle, just kidding... a bible is the most important book you can read and share with your kids. The story of Jesus is one that the whole world should hear and know... I am not a holy roller, born again, but I am amazed by Christ, his accomplishmentsm, his miracles.
The kids don't fight, whine, or cry, all my clients are happy and dinner is easily made and waiting for my hubby to come home from work. I am able to read something that lifts my spirit.
I feel like my job is not just to plan parties, but to help make their dreams come true, that can easily be accomplished even if it's one night at a party honoring them.
I wanted to do what I love but at the same time be home with my kids and not at a 9-5 job, I wanted to make my own hours and have that flexibility.
Juggling business and family and not feeling gulity when your kids want to play and you have to call a client.
