Featured Events:Eastvale City Inaugural CelebrationCome join us for the historic celebration! 10/01/2010 at 5:00pm Location: Eleanor Roosevelt High School, 7447 Cleveland Ave., Eastvale Eastvale City Inaugural Celebration City of Eastvale Inaugural Celebration Committee Encourages Eastvale Students to Participate in Logo/City Seal Contest Deadline for entries: September 20, 2010 The City of Eastvale Inaugural Celebration Ad Hoc Committee is taking applications now through September 20, 2010 submitted by Eastvale students in grades K-12. The contest is open to all elementary, middle, and high school students living in Eastvale. Submissions will be judged by the inaugural celebration committee. First, second, and third place winners will be awarded at each level (elementary, middle, and high school) and will be recognized at Eastvale's Inaugural Event on Friday, October 1st (time to be determined). Each winner will receive awards donated by community businesses. Elements from the winning entries may be considered for incorporating into the City of Eastvale's official seal. The committee encourages students to look for inspiration through a reflection of Eastvale's history, present time, and how they see Eastvale in the future. Artwork should be circular and fit in an area of about 10" x 10", if hand drawn on paper. Electronic versions should be saved and transmitted for submission via .jpg or .gif format. The entry form is accessible at www.EastvaleCity.org, located on the City Celebration navigation page. Entries must be postmarked or emailed by Friday, September 20, 2010. In addition to the city's Web site, residents can follow the celebration status via facebook - key word "City-of-Eastvale-Inaugural-Celebration" in facebook's search box. Winning entries become the property of the City of Eastvale and cannot be returned. Arrangements for the return of other submissions may be requested. All artwork must be the original work of the student submitting the entry. Winners will be notified by September 25th. Redlands Market Night has established itself as one of the most successful certified farmers markets in Southern California! Vendors vie to participate in the event that has attracted thousands of weekly visitors since its inception. Visitors are welcomed into an inviting atmosphere complete with lighted trees, brick sidewalks, historic buildings, and great musical entertainment. Crowds are pleasantly surrounded by over 150 food and merchandise booths, not to mention the downtown shopkeepers, every Thursday night.

Do you want to make sure that your child gets a head start on homework, improves his or her social skills, or help them stay active and fit? Kids Club is the program for you!
Kids Club is an after school program for children grades K-6th. Available Monday through Thursday before and after school, feel comfortable leaving your children with professionals who will make sure that your children are well cared for.
"Thank Goodness it's Fitness" makes Fridays special. Along with fitness, sports, games, arts and crafts, nutrition and more, children are taught how to make positive choices to stay healthy, strong and active.
Every day of the week professional staff provides homework assistance, a snack and a safe environment for children to explore and play. After homework, children can play indoor or outdoor games while fully supervised.
We offer bus transportation for this program to and from the following schools: Highland, Norco Elementary, Riverview, Sierra Vista, Harada, and Vandermolen. Norco Residents pay a $61 flat fee and Non Residents pay a $66 flat fee. There is an additional $10 fee for morning care and a $10 bus fee. TGIF is $16 per day or $52 per 4 week session. If your child is enrolled in the after school program, the fee is only $12 for each Friday. All of these programs are at 3939 Cedar Ave in Norco. Preschool Storytime is held Thursdays at 10:30 am in the Community Room of the Library. We have stories, songs fingerplays, games or crafts. This program is for children ages 3 to 5 years who can stay without parent or caregiver for approximately 30 minutes.
Designed for toddlers able to walk through age 3. Toddler Time is a child development program similar to "Mommy and Me" type classes. Parent and toddler will participate in activites involving:
Toddler time will run for six consecutive weeks on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10:30 am - 11:30 am in the library meeting room.

Chino Kiwanis Club and Giving Children Hope organization are collecting items for people affected by the recent earthquake in Haiti.
This is a wonderful way to help hands-on and get our children involved in helping others!
Giving Children Hope is preparing to send disaster relief to help those affected by the earthquake.
